Description

An early 20th century Kurdish runner from North West Persia of all wool construction

from the Kerman area

This is the only Qashgai we have seen that combines the characteristic geometric motifs with curvilinear elements - an unusual and charming combination

Around it are small angular boteh motifs and the main border contains an angular interpretation of the common vine and flower motif

Narrow striped flatweave ends and corded edges - both intact
